A Few Favourite Face Masks

Face mask | The Body Shop Chinese Ginseng & Rice face mask

I love face masks! In fact, they’re one of my favourite skincare products and my collection definitely backs up this statement. I think it’s amazing how picking up a face mask and putting it on your face for 5-30 minutes can make you feel so relaxed and like a new person. I’ve picked up a few of my favourites for today’s post and here are my thoughts!

The Body Shop Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask
I’m a huge fan of all The Body Shop superfood masks but this one is by far my favourite! I love the scent, how it feels on my skin when I apply it and how my skin looks once I take it off. I have dry skin so although I love the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask (it’s an amazing spot treatment) I like to use this one instead as it’s much more gentle on dry skin. It’s very creamy while still exfoliating and my skin looks visibly brighter and clearer after using it.

Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment
Since I have dry skin, hydrating masks are a must have in my collection. That being said, I actually haven’t found that many that I’ve liked as they haven’t felt hydrating enough. The only one I’ve really enjoyed using is this Glamglow Thirstymud! It’s extremely hydrating and makes my skin feels incredibly soft while also calming the skin from any irritation and redness.

Lush Cup O’ Coffee
I love coffee and as soon as I found out that Lush had a face mask like this I knew I had to give it a try! Now it’s my go-to when my skin is looking dull and needs a little pick me up. If you’re sensitive to caffeine, I’d definitely recommend using this in the morning as it might mess with your sleeping pattern a bit, although I haven’t noticed such side effects. I actually find this very relaxing and like to use it in the evening just so that all the ingredients have the time to properly sink in during the night and like the Body Shop one it has exfoliating qualities as well.

Glamglow Gravitymud Firming Treatment
To be honest, I mainly bought this mask because I thought that it looked so amazing on everyone and I needed to try that silver mask everyone had on their face on Instagram. I definitely wasn’t disappointed and ended up falling in love with this mask even more than I thought I would and it’s definitely worth the price point! The whole experience from putting this on to taking it off feels luxurious and the results are equally amazing. I’ve never used a mask that actually makes my face feel firmer, smoother and a lot more radiant. Almost like I’ve had a subtle facelift!

Lumene Glow Reveal 60 Second Facial
This mask has been seen on my blog quite a lot recently but I think that just shows how amazing I think it actually is! It is my most used face mask at the moment and it gives amazing results very quickly. If you’re a loyal reader, you’re probably bored of reading about this already so I don’t want to go into too much detail about this, but if you’d like to know more, you should definitely check out my full review!

What are your favourite face masks?

Have you tried any of the ones I mentioned?
