When I first started getting into beauty all my wishlists were full of makeup and that’s also what I would spend my money on. Then I started to read more and more beauty blogs and I learned how important it is to take good care of your skin if you want your makeup to look as good as possible and make it last longer. Even though I still absolutely love makeup and my love for it has grown over the years, I’ve also started to become even more interested in skincare and how it all works! There’s so many products I have yet to try but want to and products I use all the time – like these five…
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
This product has been my go to makeup remover for such a long time! When they came out with the version for dry skin I was over the moon because even though I love the original version it did leave my skin feeling a bit tight. If I’m wearing really heavy eye or lip makeup I opt for something oil based instead but since that’s usually not the case, this micellar water is the way to go!
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion+
This is my go to moisturiser for daytime as it’s perfect under makeup since it’s not too heavy but it’s still extremely moisturising! This is the only moisturiser I use during the warmer months but since it’s getting colder, I use Lush Skin Drink in the evenings.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky Clean Scrub
I’ve bought this scrub so many times I’ve lost count! It has also been mentioned often on the blog especially in the first two years. I use it when my skin isn’t looking its best and needs to be cleared out a bit. This scrub leaves a nice cooling feeling on the skin and really helps the irritation on any spots while making them heal and disappear faster.
Lumene Glow Reveal 60 Second Facial
This is another product I’ve mentioned on the blog and social media countless times, especially on Insta stories! This is one of my favourite face masks of all time and although I have only been using for about a year now I’ve already repurchased it twice since I love it so much! It leaves my skin super glowy and since it has exfoliating qualities as well it helps with the dryness. You can read my full review here.
Lush Enchanted Eye Cream
I’ve tried so many eye creams in the past but I always go back to this one. I recently mentioned it in my skincare routine and it’s probably the only item that won’t be replaced any time soon because even though I love trying out new skincare products I’m too obsessed with this to change it. If you’d like to know more about this eye cream, you can read my full review here.
Do you keep repurchasing the same skincare products or do you like to try new ones all the time?
