At Home Facial: Radiant Skin in 60 Seconds

Face masks are one of my favourite skincare products and even though you have to leave them on for only 5 to 10 minutes, sometimes you just might need something a little quicker. That’s where the Lumene Glow Reveal 60 Second Facial comes along.

I received this face mask in a subscription box about a year ago and I’ve been loving it ever since I first used it. It claims to deeply cleanse, exfoliate, polish and make your skin look radiant in just 60 seconds. And that’s exactly what it does!

The mask works in three ways combining gentle exfoliation, purifying actives and skin brightening oils – Nordic cloudberry and pure arctic spring water – that will give you a purified and naturally radiant complexion.

Before I used this 60 Second Facial for the first time and read all the claims I thought that no mask could do all that in such a short time, but I was so wrong. I mean of course you shouldn’t expect to have completely new skin just after one minute but I can definitely see a huge difference after every use. This is perfect for those days when your skin needs a pick-me-up but you don’t have a lot of time on your hands. I usually like to pop this on right before I take a shower and get everything ready for bed while it does its magic.

As this is one of my favourite masks I often reach for it on pamper nights as well and leave it on for a good hour or so while I take a bath. The mask doesn’t dry out even if you keep in on for that long which makes it very comfortable on the skin. I love the scent as well which is very subtle and reminds me of liquorice for some reason. It’s suitable for all skin types – mine is dry – and feels very gentle on the skin despite its exfoliating qualities.

If you’re looking for a spa-quality at home treatment that can give you quick results I’d definitely recommend giving this a go!

What’s your go to face mask?
