I was introduced to Jane Iredale’s products about a year ago via a blog post and I got to see them live for the first time last October at the I love me fair in Helsinki. I’ve been using them ever since and it’s safe to say that I’m obsessed.
Here’s two I’ve been loving lately!
PurePressed Eye Shadow Triple in Soft Kiss*
I don’t really use the word buttery when describing makeup products but these eyeshadows are so soft that they literally feel like butter. The pigmentation is amazing as well and they stay on your eyelids the whole day (I wore them for about 7 hours) without greasing which is incredible and you don’t even have to use a primer!
This particular trio includes a shimmery smoky brown, a shimmery purple and a warm matte mauve. For an everyday look I apply the mauve shade all over the lid and sometimes add either of the shimmers to darken it up. For a smokier look, I use all of the shades! Even though I’ve been using these a lot this Summer I think these would make the perfect eyeshadow trio for Autumn!
PureMoist Lipstick in Susan*
I absolutely love this lipstick! The finish is quite sheer yet very pigmented which is a combination I’ve never really seen before. Usually sheer lipsticks only leave a hint of colour on the lips but when you apply this the shade actually shows extremely well. It’s very moisturising and unlike with most lipsticks, I didn’t need to apply any lip balm before applying this. That being said, it feels very comfortable on the lips all day! It also smells lovely – like a mix of berries I’d say.
The shade Susan is a beautiful soft pink with a cool undertone which is ideal for any occasion. I think this is the perfect universal shade as even though I have warm undertones and some cool undertoned lipstick don’t always suit me but this looks amazing on!
