Empties #6 – Skin & Body Care

Another empties post on the products I’ve managed to use up.

Would I repurchase them? Let’s find out!

The Body Shop Glazed Apple Shower Gel
I love the Body Shop Christmas range. This year the apple range was called Spiced Apple (the shower gel is from 2015) but I didn’t notice a huge difference between Glazed and Spiced except that the new products smell a bit more, well, spicy.

Would I repurchase this? – Yes but I won’t as I have so many other shower gels.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Body Wash
This body wash is amazing if you have any spots anywhere on your body. One of the big Youtubers – I want to say it was Lily Pebbles but I’m not 100% sure – mentioned this in one of their videos like 3 years ago and I’ve been using it religiously ever since.

Would I repurchase this? – Definitely.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub
Again this scrub is amazing if you have any spots or blemishes but on your face. It’s my go to scrub when I want to clear my skin. It doesn’t dry your skin either like other spot treatments do so it’s perfect for anyone with dry skin like me. It’s very gentle yet very effective which is exactly what I’m looking for in a skincare product.

Would I repurchase this? – I always have a backup!

The Body Shop Aloe Vera Soothing Gel
This product is amazing when your skin is irritated or really dry. At one point I had a lot of dry patches and my skin was really red but then I started using this and it helped. Hence the name “soothing gel”. I hate the packaging though because it’s so hard to get the product out even once you’ve used like 50%. At the end I had to cut it so that I could actually get the product out and not waste the final 20%. I really hope they’ll change the tube soon.

Would I repurchase this? – Yes, but I have so many other skincare products I’d like to try I don’t think i will in a while.

Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2
This is the best toner I’ve ever tried! If I start applying makeup and have totally skipped this my makeup won’t look nearly as good. All of the Clinique toners are gently exfoliating which is amazing as they really help with any dry patches. I’m currently using number 1 since it’s Winter and my skin is drier than normal but I usually go between 1 or 2.

Would I repurchase this? – Yes!

Dove Oxygen Moisture Shampoo
This shampoo is amazing especially if you have thin and flat hair. My hair is quite thick but because it’s so heavy it might be really flat sometimes. This gave my hair so much volume and made it look really “airy”.

Would I repurchase this? – Maybe. I’m currently using Lush shampoos only but I’d definitely recommend this!

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment
This is my favourite lip balm if we leave out Bepanthen. That’s the one I use all the time but since the tube is quite big it can be quite annoying to carry around. I usually have the Fresh one in my bag at all times and it’s the only lip balm that actually moisturises my lips and I don’t have to reapply every 30 minutes.

Would I repurchase this? – Yes

Have you tried any of these products? What range is your favourite from the Body Shop?
