Fun fact: it took me hours just to decide what to call this post, the options being Summer Favourites or Loving Lately because it’s already the end of September and I felt like it might be a bit late for telling you which products I loved this Summer. But you know, rules are meant to be broken so here I am telling you just that! Plus these aren’t exactly products that I’ve loved recently so technically I’d be lying to you if I said that.
This Summer I ended up using a lot of the same products throughout the three month period. There’s definitely a mix of new favourites and some that I’ve used for a really long time.
NARS Sheer Glow foundation in Ceylan
For some reason during the hot months this year I’d either leave the house completely barefaced or in full glam. When I want a medium coverage foundation with a flawless finish I go for my NARS Sheer Glow. It’s the perfect shade for me, doesn’t dry my skin and I always get compliments on my skin when I use it.
Maybelline Instant Anti-Age the Eraser Eye concealer in Light
A lot of people rave about this concealer for under the eyes but I feel that it’s a bit too heavy and drying for that purpose. However, I love to use it for any spots or blemishes I might have! It’s full coverage, blends easily and you don’t even really need to use a brush/sponge to blend since the applicator is a sponge itself!
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch highlighting concealer in Ivory
This concealer has been my favourite one to use on dark circles for almost two years now. The shade is perfect for me, just a tad bit lighter than my foundation and it has a yellow undertone. I also really like the applicator which is a small brush because it makes applying the product under the eyes very easy. This is definitely my go to under eye concealer and you can read my full review here!
Rimmel Stay Matte powder in Transparent
When I first tried this powder I really didn’t understand the hype but for some reason I really enjoyed using it this Summer. I have dry skin so I don’t set my whole face with it, only it on spots that tend to crease during the day. I really like the fact that this powder has a bit of shimmer (which is a bit weird though as it’s called Stay Matte) in it so it makes your face look really luminous.
MAC powder blush in Taupe
This blush shade from MAC is absolutely perfect for contouring! I don’t understand why I haven’t heard other people talk about it as it just the right kind of brown with cool undertones which I imagine would suit a lot of people.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Since the MAC contour shade is cool toned when looking for something to make me look tanned and bring warmth to my face I’d go for the infamous Hoola bronzer. It’s the perfect bronzer to go for if you’d like to fake a natural looking tan on your face.

Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup blush in Candy Queen of Hearts
I’ve raved about this blush in so many occasions on my blog (read full review here) – and social media – I’m sure that some of you are already sick of hearing about it! I swear this is the last time I’ll be mentioning it
for a while but if you’re looking for that perfect pink blush then definitely give this a go! Even the packaging is just too cute *insert heart eyes emoji*
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle
This is one of the most talked about highlighter in the beauty industry and I agree, it’s gorgeous! It’s not too intense but it’s not natural looking either which is exactly what I’m usually looking for in a highlighter.

Urban Decay Naked 3 palette
I really loved pink and purple for my eyes this Summer so this was the perfect palette for that. Urban Decay eyeshadows are my favourite so far because the pigment is always on point and they blend really easily. I just posted a review of this palette so if you’d like to know more then make sure you read it!
Urban Decay All Nighter makeup setting spray
This setting spray has been a lifesaver and I still use it every day! It keeps my makeup in place the whole day and makes it look more natural aka not as powdery. On some days if my skin is feeling super dry I will just ski powder completely, spray this on and I’m good to go. If you don’t own any setting sprays yet then you need to give this a go!
Which products did you love this Summer? Are any of the ones I mentioned your favourites?
