I’ve been watching A LOT of tv shows in the past two months and I’ve found some great new ones plus dup up some good old ones! I figured I’d share my thoughts on them with you so if you’re looking for new shows to watch, just keep on scrolling 😉
Pretty Little Liars (season 5; currently on S6 E19)
I started watching this show at the beginning of February and I’m already all caught up! Aka: I’m addicted. When the shows started and everyone was talking about it, I didn’t really see the point of the show. But in my opinion you don’t know what it really is about until you start watching it yourself.
Another reason why I was kind of late to the party is because I thought the show was going to be really scary (note: I hate horror films) which it isn’t. I mean the last half of season 2 had parts where I jumped up from the sofa but it’s not horror film scary it just has some intense parts.
The Nanny (season 6)
This is one of my all-time-favourite shows ever! The Nanny is one of those shows like Friends which you can just watch a billion times and never get bored of it. It’s a sitcom and I wish they’d made more seasons than just 6. If you feel like you need a funny show in your life definitely check this one out!
Teen Wolf (season 5)
If I start talking about Teen Wolf we might be here all day so I’ll try to make this short, okay? Teen Wolf is literally my favourite show in the whole world at the moment! It’s mostly drama and action but it still has parts that make you laugh so much and romance too of course! All the characters are amazing and everything that happens action wise is really unexpected – the romance stuff never is, right?
The Carrie Diaries (season 2)
I’ve always heard many people talk about Sex and the City but as I was really young (I was actually born on the year the first season aired…) when it was on television, I never watched it. When I heard about the Carrie Diaries I was really interested and the fact that Carrie is my age in it makes it a lot easier to watch! I really loved the series and hope they wouldn’t have cancelled it only after 2 seasons.
Jane the Virgin (season 1)
I saw Jessica from Pyreflies.org recommend this show in one her blog posts and I’m really enjoying it so far! It’s really different and funny and there’s even a few murders in it. I’m not quite sure if the murders go really well with the theme on the show but that’s just my opinion and I’m enjoying it show far anyway.
Reign (season 3)
I loved this show during the first two seasons but I’m no so sure how I feel about it anymore after some unfortunate events… But even if season 3 isn’t that good I’d still definitely recommend watching the first 2 as Reign was one of my favourite shows during season 1 and 2!
Arrow (season 4)
Arrow is like present-day Robin Hood. It’s a really action based show and you have to watch about 10 episodes before you know what it’s actually about. Of course before that you’re already hooked!
Gossip Girl (season 1)
My sister loved Gossip Girl when it first started so I’ve seen a few episodes here and there and know what the show is about but I’ve never properly watched it. I wanted to start watching something similar to the Carrie Diaries and so far Gossip Girl seems like everything I expected it to be!
Have seen any of these shows?
