For some reason I had a really bad day today. When I woke up I was stressed for absolutely no reason, every little things throughout the day stressed me even more and I was beginning to feel extremely tired already at 12pm… I had schoolwork to do, blog post to write and I hadn’t even taken the pictures yet!
As you can guess the pictures ended up horrible. So instead of doing any “work” anymore, I decided to run myself a bath in middle of the day and it ended up being the best decision I’ve made in a few weeks.
For my bath I used the Body Shop Spa Of the World Egyptian Milk & Honey Bath powder and my favourite Lush bath bomb which is Lord Of Misrule. The bath powder made the bath extremely relaxing and my love for Lord Of Misrule made it even better!
I also decided to use a mask while I was in the bath since what’s a pamper/de-stress session without a mask?! This time my choice was the Body Shop Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask. This mask is one of my favourite as – like said in the packaging – it cleanses, polishes and moisturises at the same time.
Then I took a shower and used the Palmolive Pampering Shower Scrub instead of using one of my shower gels. I think this is perfect for winter time as it’s really gentle.
With the French Pink Clay Heart Konjac Sponge* (read more here) I gave myself a mini facial. This works kind like a Beauty Blender as at first it’s smaller and hard, but once you’ve wet the sponge it’s super soft and about twice the size it was. It gently exfoliates my face plus makes it look and feel a lot healthier and softer.
After my little de-stress session I ended up feeling a lot more energised, did schoolwork, wrote two blog posts instead of one and still have time to do other things! Remember to pamper yourself at least a few times a month especially if you’re feeling stressed!
