Current Favourites

Hello everyone! I hope Summer has treated you good so far.

After being sick for weeks and having lots of personal things to get done I’ve finally had the energy and time to do the thing that I enjoy, blog.
Anyway, I’m happy to be back with a Favourites post as I haven’t written one in a long time and I’ve basically been using the same things over and over again. Some of these products have been my favourites since March and some I’ve just discovered.

makeup revolution awesome eyeshadow collection

Makeup Revolution Awesome Eyeshadow Collection – First of all, you get a palette of 100 eyeshadows for £12?! How can you not buy it? I think this palette is a great way to see what shades suit you the best before you go and buy palettes that have only less than ten shades and cost twice as much.

Beauty Blender – When I first heard someone talking about Beauty Blender and how good it is I couldn’t believe as I’ve always hated those “regular” makeup sponges. However I decided to buy it and I actually didn’t see the hype around it at first when I tried it but now I use it every day. That’s how much I love it!

R – three layers of blush
L – one layer of blush

MAC Blushbaby – This blush is a mixture of purple, brown and pink (I think this is what people call mauve??) and I think it’s a perfect everyday shade. It’s also a sheer blush so if you haven’t used blushes before this would be a great one to start from!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer – My skin has been very dehydrated lately and because of that I wanted a primer that would suit for dry/dehydrated skin. This primer has been a dream for my skin and it doesn’t cling onto any dry patches.

L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray – I’ve noticed a huge difference on the longevity of my makeup when I’ve used this setting spray along with the Rimmel primer. You spritz this on your face about 4-6 times and you’re good to go. I haven’t even used any powder underneath (only to set my concealer) and my face has still remained oil-free.

Velvet Teddy, Shy Shine

MAC Velvet Teddy (matte finish)- When I’ve wanted a strong nude lip, this has been the lipstick I’ve gone for. This shade is just absolutely gorgeous and I still love wearing it even though it’s Summer.

MAC Shy Shine (lustre finish) – If you don’t feel comfortable about a very bold nude lip then this would be the nude lip choice for you. It’s a lustre finish so it’s kind of sheer and feels very hydrating and soft on the lips.

Robin Hood – If you follow me on Twitter you might have noticed that I talked about Robin Hood a lot at some point in June. I’ve always been in love with the Disney film and now I started watching the series (2006) and it’s just so good! I actually finished it already but started watching it from the start, haha.

What is your favourite lipstick right now?
