What I Got for Christmas 2014

I’m back, with an extremely late post I’m afraid. I was meant to post this a long time ago but due to my writer’s block and an event in my life I haven’t been able to.
Anyway, I like reading these kinds of posts so I though why not write one myself? It’s also one of my favourite YouTube videos to watch as I’m very nosey and love hauls etc ;).

Let’s start with makeup shall we! First thing is the Makeup Revolution I Heart Chocolate palette which apparently is a dupe for the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. I don’t own the Too Faced palette so I can’t say for sure but I do think they look extremely similar! I also got the Makeup Revolution Go! Palette which I think is a great palette to carry in your bag for touch ups as it has a blusher, bronzer, highlighter and 6 eyeshadows.
My sister brought me a MAC lipstick from the US as a gift and it’s the infamous Velvet Teddy. This has actually been on my wishlist for a long time but I wasn’t quite sure whether to ask her bring it or not because of the huge hype around it as I usually tend to not give in the hyped products just because of the hype – if you know what I mean.
I’ve been loving Tanya Burr’s lip glosses ever since I tried my first one and I was really happy to receive one in the shade Exotic Island which is a gorgeous pinkish purple.

Some more makeup from Makeup Revolution! I think the Blushing Hearts are so cute and I’ve been lusting after them for so long. My mom got me the Goddess of Love highlighter and Candy Queen of Hearts blusher, both extremely gorgeous!
Now that I’ve gotten more into lipsticks and lip products in general I’ve been loving the #Liphugs. I got three shades of them which are (from left to right) Insatiable, Want to leave? and Lets raise the bar. All of the products are such an amazing quality despite being super cheap.

My sister also brought me some makeup brushes from the US. My first MAC makeup brush is the 217 Blending Brush which everyone and their hamster seem to own. I also got some more Real Techniques brushes to fill my collection with which are the Lash-Brow Groomer and Expert Face Brush.

In this picture is everything my best friend got me. She’s amazing isn’t she?! First thing is a magnetic bookmark – as she knows I love to read – which says “A friend is someone who reaches for your hand but touches your heart.” that’s so cute! Next I got a glass heart which I think is an ornament but I’m just gonna hang it somewhere in my room.
Another thing she knows that I love is candles. She got me a Christmas candle that smells like apple and cinnamon and also a candle holder which says “Let it snow”.
Every year she gets me a set of luxury skin or body care products. This time it’s a Bloomfield Bath Gift set which contains a shower gel, body butter and body scrub.
Lastly, my favourite gift from her is a memory stick with a little note that says “Watch Me” like in Alice in Wonderland. She had made a video which had lots of pictures of us and I literally cried when I watched it!

365 Blog Topic Ideas by Dana Fox, an essential for every blogger who sometimes has no idea what to write about. Four, the newest album from my favourite boyband One Direction ;).
Some more makeup related gifts, a lipstick holder which holds 24 lipsticks. I actually bought it myself from amazon but my sister brought it as it was only available in the US.

This jewellery box is so cute and fits perfectly in my room’s decoration! It has three sections and a huge mirror.
My oldest sister got me two movie tickets and a makeup school gift card which I’m so excited about!

It was actually pretty hard to find a day to take pictures for this blog post as I wanted to take all of them the same day but I couldn’t as I’ve been living in this jumper from Cubus ever since Christmas. It’s the cosiest jumper I’ve owned. It’s 100% acrylic (my favourite material) and it’s a size too big so it’s oversized, just how I like it!

Lastly I got a PS3 (which I don’t have a picture of) and Book of Spells from J. K. Rowling game for it.
Also my godparents got me a book which is called Lumoava Joulu (Mesmerising Christmas). Basically it has all of these amazing ideas for an atmospheric Christmas from different people.

So, that’s all I got for Christmas! Tell me in the comments what was your favourite Christmas present you got!
