The Autumn Blush Edit

Blush is probably my favourite makeup product to use in Autumn. It can make the skin look a lot more alive especially if you have light skin. Dryness can also make the skin look a bit dull and since I have both light and dry skin I feel as though blush is essential to bring back some colour to my face. The four shades in this post are my favourite autumnal shades from my collection!

Freedom Makeup Pro Glow Meow
Now if you know what the Pro Glows actually look like you might be have done a double check on the photo above. The thing is, mine was broken when it came so I fixed it with some rubbing alcohol and the original animal print with light pink, a rosy shade and bronzer turned into the most beautiful muted berry shade with a hint of shimmer. According to the TAM Beauty website the shade is supposed to more brown but I absolutely love how it looks now that they're all blended together! This has definitely become one of my favourite blushes for Autumn (and Winter). It's not super pigmented but you don't have to be heavy handed either to get the perfect amount of colour!

MAC Mineralise Blush in Warm Soul
I love this when I want something else than a berry shade. Warm Soul is a peachy shade with lots of warmth - like the name suggests - and a beige undertone. It's also filled with golden glitter so it really gives you an amazing glow and healthy look without looking like a highlighter. Some people also like to use this as a warm toned bronzer but I much prefer this as a blush!

Milani Baked Blush in Berry Amore
The name says it all. To me this shade is the definition of berry and it is made for this time of year! It also has a hint of brown and gold glitter as well. Like Warm Soul it gives an amazing glow to the cheeks and would compliment a lot of skintones in my opinion. It also comes with a brush which unfortunately isn't a good one and I hope Milani will ditch it eventually. This shade is the most intense one out of the four so you might have to be a bit more careful with this if you only want a sheer layer of blush.

MAC Powder Blush in Blushbaby
This is my go to blush no matter the occasion! It's perfect for everyday use since it's quite subtle but because of that it's also amazing for more formal events as well. This is the only completely matte blush mentioned in this post and probably one of the only ones I own. This and the Pro Glow are actually quite similar but this is more sheer.
