2 Lipsticks I'm Currently Obsessed With

Two lipsticks | MAC Hot Gossip | Rimmel London Asia lipstick
These shades aren't really your typical dark Autumn/Winter shades like Rimmel Kate Moss 107, but they are definitely a great alternative if you're looking for a lighter lip. For some reason I haven't really worn dark lipsticks this A/W and have opted for medium nudes and pinks instead. These two are my absolute go to at the moment!

December To Do List

1. Pick up a few festive/Winter reads. Let It Snow is definitely on my list, as well as My True Love Gave To Me which has twelve different holiday stories. If you have any recommendations, please let me know in the comments! Literally anything happy with snow goes!

2. Drink all the hot chocolate! I can't remember the last time I've had hot chocolate but the festive season is the perfect time to drink some. Maybe I'll even pick up a Christmas mug to make the experience extra festive!

Makeup Products I've Been Loving This Autumn

Tomorrow is the first day of December, which means that Autumn is coming to an end. Since I haven't really posted any monthly favourites type of posts in a while, I thought I'd talk a little bit about all the makeup products I've been loving this season.

My Favourite Shows on Netflix

Netflix | Apple TV
I watch something on Netflix pretty much every day, and when I'm ill, it's my best friend. There's so many amazing shows on there and I've found quite a few new ones because of it. Today I'm going to share some (read: eight) of my absolute favourites - that I could watch over and over again - including a few Netflix Originals, sitcoms, drama and more!

5 Skincare Products I Keep Repurchasing

Skincare products
When I first started getting into beauty all my wishlists were full of makeup and that's also what I would spend my money on. Then I started to read more and more beauty blogs and I learned how important it is to take good care of your skin if you want your makeup to look as good as possible and make it last longer. Even though I still absolutely love makeup and my love for it has grown over the years, I've also started to become even more interested in skincare and how it all works! There's so many products I have yet to try but want to and products I use all the time - like these five...

The Autumn Blush Edit

Blush is probably my favourite makeup product to use in Autumn. It can make the skin look a lot more alive especially if you have light skin. Dryness can also make the skin look a bit dull and since I have both light and dry skin I feel as though blush is essential to bring back some colour to my face. The four shades in this post are my favourite autumnal shades from my collection!

November To Do List

1. Fill my room with all the candles, they're definitely essential in A/W and hopefully I'll finally have the time to make my own scented ones as well!

2. Read every night before bed. I want to read 4 books this Autumn and I was doing just fine but then I had a few busy weekends in October which made me stop reading completely for a few weeks. Now I'm back to my routine and hopefully will have the time to finish all four books!

Lush Halloween Haul

Happy Halloween everyone! I thought I'd share my Lush Halloween picks before carrying on with my Halloween to do list. I hope you're having a great day no matter how you're spending it!

This year I only picked up bath bombs from the Halloween collection. Last year I bought Lord Of Misrule and didn't end up getting my hands on any of the other bath bombs but rather the shower gels and stuff. Here's what ended up in my basket this year!

5 Things I Want to Do This Halloween

Harry Potter Halloween | Halloween photography
I don't really celebrate Halloween but I don't spend it like any regular day either. I like to give myself a little pamper and do things that I love that are more Halloween themed. Here's what I'm planning on doing this year!

My Current Skincare Routine | Skincare for Dry Skin

I don't think I've talked about my skincare routine on the blog for the longest time! The reason being that I always felt as though my skin needed to be absolutely perfect before I could tell about the products I'm using and recommend them. Even though that is still not the case, I absolutely love all pf these products, they work amazingly and fulfill their purpose so I just couldn't wait to share my thoughts on them with you!

Just to clarify, I have dry skin which can be quite sensitive to fragrances and certain ingredients. All of these products work for other than skin types as well or have different versions so even if you don't have dry skin you might want to have a read ;)

3 Affordable Eyebrow Products You Need To Try

Every time I start doing my makeup - no matter if I have 5 minutes to do it or an hour - I always make sure to have time to do my brows. Brows frame your face and great brows can pull a whole look together. I've tried quite a few brow products in the past five years and today I'm going to share three affordable ones I really love. I definitely think you should give them a try as well!

October To Do List

Autumn Starbucks | Autumnal cup
1. Order these high waisted jeans from New Look. I've been searching for a pair of high waisted jeans for a long time and these look perfect!

2. Try to tweet more. For some reason I've been so inactive on Twitter and my profile is only filled with scheduled tweets, but this month I'm gonna try and change that.

MAC Blushbaby

Blush has slowly but surely become one of my favourite makeup items. I think it makes you look so much more alive especially if you're using a full coverage foundation and covering the natural redness on the cheeks. Today I'm going to tell you about one of my favourite blushes - MAC Blushbaby.

4 Books I Want to Read This Autumn

I've loved reading ever since I was little and it even says on my little bio on the sidebar that "you can most likely find me with a book in my hand". Though it hasn't been that way recently.

For some reason I haven't really read lately even if I've had the time. I've just done something else like scrolled through my Instagram feed or pinned things on Pinterest. This Autumn I want to get back to reading so I've chosen 4 books from my collection I want to read this season.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - J. K. Rowling
The whole Harry Potter series is hands down my favourite book series ever and I think that everyone should read it. I've lost count how many times I've read each of them but this is the first time I'm reading them in English (I'm Finnish). I finished the Prisoner of Azkaban in March so I thought that the Goblet of Fire would be the perfect choice to get me back to reading. I also find that for some reason all the books are perfect to read in Autumn. Especially the first two!

The Most Beautiful Stationary from Jo & Judy

When Autumn comes, I like to treat myself to a few new stationary pieces. I've been lusting after all the pink and rose gold stationary from Jo & Judy for ages so I finally decided to get a few. Here are my picks!

The Drugstore Highlighting Palette You Need | NYX Strobe of Genius

NYX Strobe Of Genius | Drugstore highlighting palette
This post combines two of my favourite things at the moment - NYX Cosmetics and highlighters.

NYX has been my favourite drugstore brand for a while now and every time I try something new from them I fell in love. I got the NYX Strobe Of Genius Illuminating Palette already back in November last year and even though I was obsessed with it instantly, I only started using it more this Summer. I even mentioned it in my July Favourites!

September To Do List

September to do list | blog lifestyle photography | autumn candles
 1. Buy a pair of trainers. I had to throw away my old ones as they were giving me blisters so now I'm on a hunt for a new perfect pair. The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus' look really nice!

2.  Pick up a succulent or two. I absolutely love having some greenery in my room but flowers seem to be a bit too high-maintenance for me. Succulents are supposed to be really easy to take care of and they are so pretty too! I think I'm gonna go with Desert Rose or Wax Agave.

Transitional Wardrobe Picks | Summer to Autumn

The weather has been getting colder each day which means that Autumn is nearly here *squeals with excitement*. I usually treat myself to a few new wardrobe pieces when the season changes and I've already been browsing through some of my favourite stores online and adding things to my wishlists.

I definitely got a bit too carried away and ended up finding so many lovely things for Autumn. I decided to share them with you in the hopes that you'll find some pieces you love as well! These are mostly high street priced items but there's also a few picks from Ted Baker in each category as it's one of my favourite brands.

Garnier Fructis Goodbye Damage Range

I'm a part of a network called Buzzador where you can try different kinds of products and services if you're chosen for the campaign. One of the things I love about Buzzador is that you don't have to be a blogger to be able to apply for a campaign - all the reviews are made through the Buzzador website.

I was recently sent a box full of Garnier products through Buzzador and I ended up really liking them. That's why I wanted to give my blog readers a longer review and share my final thoughts on here as well!

I find my hair to be quite difficult to look after to be honest. That's because the ends of my hair get really dry if I don't remember to take care of them and give them enough moisture but then my scalp is a whole other story. Basically, I have combination hair.

At Home Facial: Radiant Skin in 60 Seconds

Face masks are one of my favourite skincare products and even though you have to leave them on for only 5 to 10 minutes, sometimes you just might need something a little quicker. That's where the Lumene Glow Reveal 60 Second Facial comes along.
I received this face mask in a subscription box about a year ago and I've been loving it ever since I first used it. It claims to deeply cleanse, exfoliate, polish and make your skin look radiant in just 60 seconds. And that's exactly what it does!

August To Do List

1. Search for a new planner - I currently have the "I am very busy" agenda from Ban.Do (seen here) and even though I like it I want to one from a different brand for next year. I'm thinking about the Happiness Planner or this one from NUNUCO. If you have any suggestions please tell me in the comments!

2. Buy some cosy and pretty loungewear for the colder months.

3. Finish reading Little Women. I started reading at the beginning of June and still haven't finished! I mean it's about 700 pages but I still need to attempt to finish it this month.

July Favourites

I can't believe that it's already the last day of July and Autumn is almost here - which I'm actually really excited about!

Today I'm going to be sharing my favourite makeup products for the month which I haven't done in a while. For some reason for the past few months I've been reaching for the same products constantly but in July I finally shopped my stash and switched my makeup routine a bit more. I actually ended up discovering a few products that I wasn't really a fan of before but now they've ended up in this post!

Lush Summer Picks

As a beauty blogger I love trying out new brands but there's also a few that are my absolute go to and I always end up loving their products. One of them is Lush.
At first, I only used Lush for their bath products but now my bathroom is full of products from massage bars to hair treatments. These made the cut as my favourites for this season.

Two From Jane Iredale

I was introduced to Jane Iredale's products about a year ago via a blog post and I got to see them live for the first time last October at the I love me fair in Helsinki. I've been using them ever since and it's safe to say that I'm obsessed.

Here's two I've been loving lately!
Two makeup products from Jane Iredale
PurePressed Eye Shadow Triple in Soft Kiss*
I don't really use the word buttery when describing makeup products but these eyeshadows are so soft that they literally feel like butter. The pigmentation is amazing as well and they stay on your eyelids the whole day (I wore them for about 7 hours) without greasing which is incredible and you don't even have to use a primer!

July To Do List

1. Visit a farmer's market.

2. Pick a sunny day and go for a picnic!

The Incredible Face Mask + Discount Code!

One of my favourite skincare products has always been face masks. They can completely transform your skin and make it look brand new.

I have dry skin but I still have a problem with blackheads and whiteheads around my t-zone. Also, because of the dryness, I'm prone to dry patches which can result in dead skin on my face. When I was contacted by MayBeauty and asked if I'd like to try their The Incredible Face Mask*, I instantly said yes as it's supposed to help with both said skin problems and also get rid of impurities and excess oil.

Summer Fashion Edit

When it's cold outside and I'm spending my day at home, I usually just end up throwing on a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. But when it comes to Summer, I love dressing up every single day! Here are three things I need to have in my Summer wardrobe.

19th Birthday Wishlist

For my first proper post after my absence (read my life update post if you want to know why I took a break) I thought I'd share my birthday wishlist with you. I actually can't believe I'm turning 19. Is it too early to have a crisis about my age? I feel so old... I mean, High School Musical came out eleven years ago. That's just insane!
But before I get too carried away, let's just get on with the post, shall we?

Life Update | Surgery, Stress and Online School

It's been way over a month since I've posted so I thought it was about time to update you on what on earth I've been doing and why hasn't been any activity on the blog.

May To Do List

I'm one of those people who always say how fast the time has gone but seriously, I feel like I blinked and April was over. And now we are already almost halfway through May!
Here's a list of things I'd like to achieve this month.

7 TV Shows I'm Currently Watching (On Netflix)

I'm one of those people who always watch the same shows like Friends - believe me I've already lost count on how many times I've seen it - over and over instead of starting new ones. Last month I was able to break the circle when I started watching Suits and ended up finding some amazing shows!

Spring Makeup Menu

For me Spring makeup means glowy skin and many different shades of pink. I've picked a few products that fit perfectly into that description and created a makeup menu for you.

NYX Cosmetics Haul

NYX is one of my favourite makeup brands at the moment so when I was in Helsinki, walking by their stand, I just couldn't resist myself and ended up buying quite a few new products.

April To Do List

I was writing my monthly to do list for this month in my planner - like I've done every month for a few years now. Then I thought why not share it on then blog instead? I always forget to go back and actually read it in my planner anyway and this way I can find it no matter where I am. Even if I don't have my planner with me!

A Wintery Photo Shoot with Duchess (my dog)

One thing you might not know about me is that I love nature photography. I also love taking photos of my dogs, especially Duchess since Lila usually can't be bothered to look at the camera even if I ask her to... I think she might be camera shy.

Duchess on the other hand is very interested in my camera. Sometimes a bit too interested. I imagine that she's thinking something along the lines of "Ooo, what's that? Can I sniff it? Lick it? Maybe even taste it?!". When we're outside, it's a lot easier to take photos of her because she concentrates on playing rather than me.

The other day when it was really snowy and pretty outside with the sun shining I took some photos and thought I'd share them with you today!

18 Inspirational Quotes for Girl Bosses

Happy International Women's Day!

In honour of this day I thought I'd share my favourite inspirational and motivational quotes for Girl Bosses. I think it's important to empower the women around you and I think this is the perfect way to do so. I hope you enjoy them!

Share the Love

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Today is all about love and even if you don't really celebrate Valentine's Day I think it's a great opportunity to tell the people close to you that you love and appreciate them.

It's also the perfect day to share a few of my favourite blogs, vlogs and Instagram accounts here on the blog.

If you've been reading my blog for a while you, might remember me posting about a subscription box called Livbox a few times.

Goals and Wishes for 2017

I love lists which also means I love planning even if I don't always accomplish said plans. That's why I also love setting goals when the new year rolls in. This year my main rule is to concentrate on my happiness and do thinks that bring me joy. All the goals mentioned are one way or another build around that rule.
