BLOGMAS DAY 1 | Getting Rid of Dry Hands

Happy 1st of December everyone! Or as we say in Finland, Happy Christmas Month (Hyvää joulukuuta) ;).

This year I'm attempting to publish a post every day until Christmas aka do Blogmas. I'm making no promises but I have so many posts I want to write before the 25th so may the odds be ever in my favour... :D
As Christmas is right around the corner and mostly everyone is very excited for everything that comes with it like decorating the tree, buying presents, eating chocolate etc. Unfortunately, usually with the holidays comes the cold weather which means dry skin everywhere! Unless you're really lucky and even your hands don't get dry or you live in the  Southern Hemisphere of course...

Today I'm going to be telling about one of my must have products to beat dry skin on your hands. It's the Moisturising Fruit Hand Cream* from BornPrettyStore and I can assure you, it's a lifesaver if you have dry hands!
First of all, don't you just love the packaging?! This hand cream has four fruity scents to choose from and the package is always shaped like the fruit you get. I got the peach one (as you probably noticed from the photos) and I think it's so cute! You can also choose apple, lemon or pear if peach doesn't really float your boat.

I did have my suspicions when I first started trying this product since it's a really cheap ($4.11) hand cream but it really is the best hand cream I've tried so far. It absorbs quickly once applied and doesn't leave your hands feeling sticky at all! The consistency is a bit different from a regular hand cream, this is definitely more of a gel cream which might have something to do with it absorbing quickly. It leaves my hands feeling silky smooth and soft which is all you want in a hand cream.
The only downsides in this hand cream are that the packaging (even though it's cute) is quite bulky so it's not something you can just pop in your handbag and you're good to go. Then again, only one application keeps my hands moisturised all day so it's not really necessary to carry it around with you. The second thing is that even though this hand cream does smell like peach like it's supposed to, it has a slight undertone of a plastic-like scent... I'm not sure how to explain it but you get the idea. It doesn't really bother me though as the scent isn't strong and I usually don't go around smelling my hands all day.

If you're looking for a new hand cream I'd definitely recommend this one and you can also get 10% off from anything from BornPrettyStore if you use my code ANUG10.
