Whenever I buy a new foundation these days, I tend to go for liquid ones. I think they are easy to blend and most the time the packaging has a pump so the product is easily accessible.
Before I got really into beauty, I used to use this exact foundation I'm reviewing today, the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in the shade 30 Sand.

When I first started applying this onto my skin, I used my hands, I noticed it feels very light and soft. It also blends easily like most foundations I use. It gives light to medium coverage, covers redness but leaves blemishes and spot visible so you need concealer if you want to hide those.

If you're one of those people who like to have SPF in their foundation, then this might be a good one for you as it has an SPF18. It feels really nice on your skin through the day, except on dry patches/skin it itches and feels even more drying. It also makes the dry areas of your face even more visible.

I didn't wear any primer under this foundation so I do think that if your skin is well hydrated and you use a moisturising primer this would work really well. Also people who have oilier skin would probably really like this as it gives a semi-matte finish.

So I'd definitely recommend this but anyone with drier skin should moisturise well and wear a moisturising primer underneath.

What kind of foundation do you like to use?
