MAC Haul + First Impressions

MAC is hands down one of my go-to makeup brands! The quality is absolutely amazing, I'd say the same as many high end brands, but the products are still a bit cheaper. Also the variety of products is huge!

I've been collecting and trying many new products from MAC since my US trip and can't wait to share my thoughts with you :). Keep in mind that I haven't used some products as much as others so I can't give a full review on all of them!

Prep+Prime Fix+ Skin Refresher/Finishing Mist
I never thought I'd actually need this product even though it has been raved but when the MUA used it on me I knew I had to have it. It makes my makeup look less powdery and keeps it in place longer. My face also looks more natural and alive when I use this. I really want to try the different scents MAC has launched.

Hot Gossip lipstick (cremesheen)
My mom actually said that this looked nice and I thought it would be a great subtle AW shade. I haven't used it that much as I have been "saving" it for Autumn but I can't wait to put it on my lips every day :D. I do know that it feels very creamy and moisturising on the lips - as cremesheens usually do - and the shade is gorgeous! According to the website it's a "mid-tone pinky plum" which I completely agree with.

Brave Red lipstick (cremesheen)
For some reason I didn't want to go for a blue toned red but I'm actually glad I didn't as I love this one! It's a gorgeous every day red and again feels creamy and moisturising due to being a cremesheen finish. According to the MAC website it's a "bright yellow red" so if you're looking for a red lipstick that's not blue toned, definitely try this one!

Pro Palette Large Duo version
Ever since I got into MAC products I knew I wanted to buy many of their eyeshadows. When I also fell in love with their blushes I thought I'd get a pro palette with one eyeshadow x 15 insert and blush x 6 insert. I can't wait to fill it up!
Hot Gossip, Brave Red
Charcoal Brown (matte)
This is the perfect shade for my eyebrows. I've been using it every time I've wanted my brows to look a bit more defined as I usually go for a very natural brow. You can create a natural or defined brow with this though. It's very pigmented so a little goes a long way. I think it would suit a lot of people as it is a "muted taupe brown" so cool toned and doesn't have any red in it.

Sumptuous Olive (veluxe pearl)
This is such a gorgeous shade. I've been using it a lot on it's own. When it's on my eyelids it looks like a mixture of green, gold and brown which is amazing! It's described as a "khaki with pearl".

Woodwinked (veluxe pearl)
Another absolutely gorgeous shade which I've been loving! This is a "warm antiqued gold" which in my opinion looks like a mix of brown and gold again.
Taupe (matte)
This is the only refill pan I have on the blush side of the palette and it's not really even a blush! This is a "soft beige brown" shade that I like to use for contouring. I have so many new contouring products though that I haven't used this one that much yet but I'm still loving it so far.
Studio Sculpt Foundation in NC25
This foundation is one of my absolute favourites. I've tried so many foundations in the past few years and this is a one I'd definitely recommend! If you like the MAC Studio Fix but want something with a little bit more of a dewy finish, this is for you. It's "a gel-based foundation that offers medium to full coverage with a natural satin finish".

Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle
This "gilded peach bronze" highlighter is literally talked by everyone who loves makeup and now I can see why. It's absolutely gorgeous. It suits for everyone, gives just the right amount of product and looks amazing. Do I need to say more?

Mineralise Skinfinish Natural in Medium Plus
I'm not really a huge fan of powder anymore as I've started to love that dewy finish instead of a matte one. However, this powder doesn't make you look matte, it just sets your makeup.

Mineralise Blush in Warm Soul
First of all, this blush is gorgeous. For some reason I haven't used it yet but I saw it on Velvetgh0st's channel and fell in love. Hopefully I'll get more use out this "mid tone beige with gold pearl" this AW.

Foundation Pump
Well this one is quite self-explanatory isn't it? :D

159 Brush
This brush is a blush brush but the MUA used to as a foundation and powder brush for me and told it's one of those brushes that you can use for everything. I totally agree and will definitely take this brush with me whenever I'm on vacation so I don't have to carry a million brushes with me. Now I've been loving this for contouring as it fits perfectly into the hollows of my cheeks.
Have you bought any new beauty bits lately?
