Lip Liner for All Lipsticks

IsaDora perfect lipliner in 80 transparent
When it comes to my daily makeup I never used to wear lip liner. However, since I got into using more lipsticks last Autumn, I've been on a hunt for good but affordable lip liners - especially for those dark lipstick shades. Unfortunately the colour choices for lip liners here in Finland is pretty limited if you don't want to spend a lot of money on them. Also ordering a lip liner online can quite frustrating as they probably won't be the same shade as it looks on your laptop screen.

Fortunately when I was doing some makeup shopping with my sister back in December I found the IsaDora Perfect Lipliner in 80 Transparent. For me it's the perfect lip liner as I don't always remember to use them and it goes with absolutely every lipstick shade I own! Now I don't have to invest in every lip liner shade that I need, unless I want to of course.
As for the lip liner itself, it goes on the lips very easily. It does feel a bit waxy so if you've dry lips, you probably need to moisturise first (personally I do this before any lip product even though I don't have dry lips). Despite the consistency, in my opinion it doesn't feel uncomfortable or drying on the lips and you don't feel it at all after applying the lipstick you want to use. Also lipsticks - all finishes - glide on just as easily as they would on bare lips and stay on a whole lot longer.

Edited on 27th of March: IsaDora is only sold in selected European countries (find them on their website http://www.isadora.com/global/) so if you don't live in one of the countries you should find a transparent lip liner from Maybelline if you're interested in buying one :).

What lip liners do you like to use?

  1. I hardly ever use lip liners, but maybe I should start using them more! This Isadora lip liner looks very pretty and it certainly goes with any lipstick shade! :)

I don't invest in lip liners too mach and only have a few shades in my collection so this invisible one sounds perfect. Such a good idea to be able to use the same liner for all shades of lipsticks x

  5. Now that I bought this one I've been using it every time I use a lipstick! I think IsaDora is only sold in selected countries though so if you can't get your hands on it I know that Maybelline also has a transparent lip liner :)x

  6. I'm the exact same. I only have this and a nude one :D. If you can't get your hands on this one (I think it's not sold in the UK) then Maybelline should have an invisible one too :)x

  7. It definitely is! I think IsaDora is only sold in selected European countries so I wouldn't be surprised if you've never even heard of it, haha. I hadn't before this lip liner even though it's sold in my country :)x
